I gotta say, the academic standards at my new university are pretty pathetic. I appreciate the break--I've got 2 kids, I can use all the help I can get--but seriously? Case in point- I did maybe 20 minutes of studying for my first Psych exam and got a 94. I walked out of the testing center going, seriously? That's the standard around here? And get this- this class has no comprehensive exams. Hello easy A!
My worst class is the math one, of course. Math was invented to cause migraines.
Getting back into school has been disorienting, simply because I expected my course load be more of a, well, load. It's almost pathetic that I can do all my computer and psych homework in one evening a week. Math is online, so that's pretty ongoing, but I'm into the 4th unit of 10, so I'm blazing through that mess.
I'm sure my family doesn't mind a bit, though.
Speaking of, the baby is fussing...
